I very fortunate in that I have Tri-Care Prime and can afford the co-pay for this drug. I have no idea if the V.A. has it in their formulary. As someone else said, I doubt it. The drug is fairly new...

It's not currently in the VA Formulary, either by brand name or generic.It was just approved by the FDA for use in the USA in january of 2010.It will probably be added since it seems to be less risky...

Byetta ia a non formulary item, but several years ago the VA supplied me with it. They had to send in a request to be approved. Maybe the same with Victozia. Budgets now may preclude this tho'
